Our Founder
KY9 JM was founded in 2024 by Keiya Yamazaki.
From an early age, he was impressed and deeply influenced by the complex four seasons that have been passed down since ancient times in Japan, the unique national character of the Japanese people as an island nation, and the unique Japanese aesthetic sense of "wabi-sabi."
He launched KY9 JM as a high-quality Japanese-made men's jewelry brand based on his own Japanese interpretation of aesthetics.
Simplicity, detail and functionality are at the heart of KY9's aesthetic and the brand is committed to reducing and preserving its impact on Japan's nature as much as possible, and Keiya Yamazaki designs his jewellery with all of these elements in mind.
He draws inspiration from the nature, culture, ethnicity and history of Japan and other countries around the world.
